Ep. 393 w/ Alfred Boyadgis CEO & Co-Founder of Forcite
A groundbreaking smart motorcycle helmet from down under.
It’s called the MK1 and features Forcite’s patented RAYDAR™ helmet system, combining the latest Formula 1 LED technology, audio interactivity, military-grade camera recording and a fingertip handlebar controller into a smart, seamless and sensory rider experience.
Forcite launched the MK1 in Australia to overwhelming demand, selling out within weeks and will deliver the helmet to the United States in 2020.
Forcite is led by Alfred Boyadgis, 29, a visionary and industrial designer with a passion for motorsports. A serious motorcycle accident inspired Alfred to create the MK1 and provide motorcyclists with a complete riding ecosystem, providing relevant information to keep them connected and aware of everything going on around them without unnecessary distractions.
“Forcite’s mantra is ‘Know Everything’ and our RAYDAR system enables just that, setting a new standard in motorcycle connectivity and awareness,” said Alfred Boyadgis, founder & CEO, Forcite. “Forcite is here to wage war with the big brands and fly the flag high as the leader in smart helmet tech globally.”
Forcite is transforming the motorcycle helmet industry with a range of helmets designed to make the riding experience smarter and safer. Initially designed for motorcycle police officers to help with response times and ultimately save lives, Forcite has evolved its smart helmet to include all motorcyclists, resulting in a complete platform for the riding ecosystem that connects riders to roads, communities and cities.
Alfred Boyadgis is founder & CEO of Forcite. A visionary and industrial designer with a passion for motorsports, Alfred was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in 2014. The near-fatal wreck inspired Alfred to create what would ultimately become the Forcite MK1: the “Know Everything” helmet that keeps motorcyclists fully informed of what is going on around them using a patented light display. Alfred has a rich history of industrial design, branding and mechanical engineering experience and has received several industry design awards and accolades including being named to the Forbes “30 Under 30” list and an Australian Good Design award. Alfred holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and Product Engineering with first-class honours from University New South Wales, Sydney.
